MS Magellan was built in 2009 as a luxury class ship. The cabins are spacious and the decor and furnishings are warm and inviting. MS Magellan offers a spacious sun-deck, great food, and intimacy.
The crew consists of 6 people.

Boat description:
The boat is classified 5* rating, 35 m long, 7,70 m wide and has 2 masts, with cruising speed of 9.5 NM.
It has 19 cabins on the main and lower decks, all fully air-conditioned, with queen-size bed or twin beds with possibility for an additional bed, cupboard, cabinet and window or porthole, bathroom with shower, toilette and wash basin.
It has fully air-conditioned salon-restaurant on the main deck with bar and LCD TV, two sun decks of 150 m2, one of which has sun beds and tables. Electricity on board: 220 V.

DAY 1 - SATURDAY ZATON TO SLANO

  • EMBARKATION IN DUBROVNIK FROM 9:00 AM UNTIL 12:30 PM or
  • IN ZATON FROM 1:00 PM UNTIL 3:00 PM
  • SINCE THE BOAT WILL STAY OVERNIGHT IN SLANO IT IS POSSIBLE TO EMBARK ON SUNDAY BEFORE 7:30 AM OR IN TRSTENIK BEFORE 12:30

Zaton (Bay), near Dubrovnik is a village in southern Croatia, located on the coast of the eponymous bay, on the Dubrovnik Riviera, 8 km northwest of Dubrovnik. It is a beautiful and picturesque, 2 km long bay; divided into Veliki and Mali Zaton. Main occupations are farming, viticulture, olive growing and tourism. Zaton is a recognizable picture of the pastoral region of Dubrovnik. The Renaissance summer manors of former Dubrovnik aristocracies are a historical site that makes Zaton bay recognizable as a Dubrovnik summer manor region.

Slano is a village in southern Croatia and a small harbor in the bay of the same name, located 27 km northwest of Dubrovnik. Farming, olive-growing, viniculture, fruit-growing, tobacco, herbs (sage, laurel, and woodworm), fishing and tourism are the main occupations.

DAY 2 - SUNDAY SLANO - TRSTENIK - NP MLJET

Trstenik is one of the oldest settlements on Peljesac, with beautiful natural bays and beaches, with clear blue sea that is surrounded by pine forests. It is a favored resort of many tourists who seek peace and quiet, beauty of nature and a typical Dalmatian atmosphere. Trstenik was founded as a wine export port. First houses were built farther from the coast for protection from pirates, and coastal settlement developed in the 19th century.

Island of Mljet is mentioned in the stories about Odyssey and St. Paul, as well as Benedictine monks and the Mediterranean Seal. Mljet is an elongated island, with an average width of 3 km and 37 km long. It is an island of great diversity and contrast. "Mljet" National Park covers the northwestern part with an area of 5.375 Ha of protected land and surrounding sea. This area was proclaimed the national park on the 11th November 1960 and represents the first institutionalized attempt to protect an original ecosystem in the Adriatic.

DAY 3 - MONDAY MLJET - SCEDRO - HVAR

Hvar is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich culture and historical heritage. Its name derives from the Greek name (island and town), that stood where today Stari Grad stands - Pharos. Hvar became the island's center in the 13th century. Hvar gained glory and power during Middle Ages being an important port within the Venetian, naval empire. Today, it is the center of the island's tourism and one of the favorite destinations in the Dalmatian Riviera - a town of smiling and courteous people, who are almost only dedicated to tourism.

DAY 4 - TUESDAY HVAR - BRAC - SPLIT

Split is the largest Dalmatian city, the second-largest urban center in Croatia, and the -center of Split Dalmatian County. Split is also one of the oldest cities in the area, and is traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old. Since 1979, the historic center of Split has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. It is the economic, administrative, educational, sport and tourist center of Split Dalmatian County traffic. It connects the Croatian islands, pearls of the Adriatic which are Hvar, Vis, Brac and Solta. Many of Split historical and cultural buildings can be found within the walls of Diocletian's Palace. In addition, numerous museums, the National Theater, and old churches, plus other archaeological sites in the Split region make it an important cultural attraction.

DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY SPLIT - PUCISCA - MAKARSKA

Pucisca, is the islands biggest village and it is settled in the north side of the island Brac. Authentic Mediterranean architecture, rustic ambiance, location of the village inside the deep fjord, shiny and white stone facades that are rising amphitheatrically uphill the hummocks, makes this place so unique and worth seeing.
Pucisca carries the mark of stone. They were built on the stone, and the majority of the inhabitants live from it. The three nearby quarries of Punta, Veselje, and Kupinovo have produced stone that has been used to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, Parliament house in Vienna and many other famous buildings all over the world. Love of stone continues to this day. Stonemasonry school in Pucisca, one of the oldest in the world, founded in 1906, supports the skills of authentic roman stone dressing, that makes it unique in the world. Listening, respecting and loving the stone, students create they one art works that you will be able to see in they workshop. The beauty of Pucisca is eternal - therefore the perfect harmony of stone and tourism in this place of sun, stone and salt is not a question at all.

Biokovo Mountain stands vertically above the whole town of Makarska and represents an unrepeatable combination of the sea, greenery and vertical stone cliffs. People from Makarska are known as good and kind hosts, the town itself is famous for its culture, sport and entertaining manifestations and is also well known as a popular center.
This implies that you will find great choices of traditional gastronomy, home-produced food and drinks served in restaurants and taverns that Makarska is famous for.

DAY 6 - THURSDAY MAKARSKA - LOVISTE- KORCULA

Loviste - small fishing village located at the top of Peljesac peninsula, opposite to the island of Hvar. 17 km down the road from Orebic. Loviste was settled by Hvar fishermen's in a bay sheltered from bad weather.
Today Loviste is a favorite destination of all tourists seeking a quiet vacation far from civilization. Also, because of its natural protection Loviste is a shelter for many sailing boats and yachts during the summer.

A town that lies beside the sea on the north-east end of the island Korcula. The old medieval part of the city was built on a small oval peninsula, a Baroque suburb spreads under the old city walls, and newer town quarters stretch along the shore to the east and west of the old center. Today the city has about 3,000 inhabitants. Local legend says that Marco Polo was born in Korcula town and his house makes an interesting visit. The center of the town is dominated by the splendid St. Mark's Cathedral.

DAY 7 - FRIDAY KORCULA - DUBROVNIK

Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful cities in the Croatian coast. In the middle ages the Republic of Dubrovnik was an important rival to Venice. Many buildings in the Old city center testify of this glorious past and to its Venetian influence. Today, Dubrovnik is also a very lively city, with many things to do, both during the day and night. The coast nearby offers all sorts of activities and the town has many restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Dubrovnik is a city rich with culture and history, so it is listed in UNESCO World Heritage.
Dubrovnik has a rich cultural life that includes the Dubrovnik theater, several cinemas as well as Dubrovnik Film Festival and Dubrovnik Summer Festival, held every year in July and August.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations must be made in writing. Upon confirmation of individual reservation a 30% deposit per person is required. In the event of cancellation by the client: The Company reserves the right to levy cancellation charges as follows: 150 EUR/person from moment of reservation up to 30 days prior the cruise. 35% of the total cruise rate 29 - 22 days prior to the cruise



PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
  • 30% ADVANCE payment - upon reservation.
  • 70% BALANCE payment - 5 weeks before charter period.
